Waterbury Derby Valley Chordsmen Mission Statement
Our men's Barbershop Chorus has been active since 1947 in the Waterbury Derby area because we love to sing and want to continue to encourage and promote the enjoyment of four part a cappella harmony...barbershop style. There is nothing else like it! Our goal is to introduce this classic singing style to men, both young and young at heart, while increasing our ability to sing well and have fun. In this tradition, we also provide scholarships for several students each summer.
